Fuel 2004 V6 3.9l Mustang Fuel Filter Replacement

Hey guys i need some help on how to replace the fuel filter on my 2004 v6 3.9l mustang. I know where the filter is but i want to know what stepa to take in order to replace it...like how to depressurize the system etc. Thank you !

easiest way to de-pressurize is to pull the fuel pump relay, start the car and let it stall out. Then all you need is a fuel line dis-connect tool to remove the fuel lines, however i do not remember the correct size
