I plugged the low oil sensor in and it came out of limp mode . Now i have two codes
PO452 evap emission control system pressure sensor low
PO191 CKT range / perf
When i finally find this damn thing i am going to post pics of it every where i can ,i have searched for two days every way i can think of and no one has a pic and no one can tell me exactly where it is located ...its like big foot !
Had to order one ,should be here tomorrow morning ,i already took the old one out. Yep ,this little sucker is supposed to be what is causing the trouble !
It is a sensor suposidly, when it goes out car will not idle ,will not take gass and acts like several cylinders are not firing ,it will also effect the fuel pressure regulator , will find out if it fixes tomorrow .
I just plugged the oil fill sensor in and that shut off limp mode ,i have it zip tied to the tranny lines now but if i can simply jump it i will
Yeah , the new sensor did the trick and the code cleared ,now ....i get code P2198 ! 02 sensor stuck ritch ,bank 2 sensor 1 ,and surprise surprise bank 1 and sensor one . I am thinking this is not the o2 sensors but something else triggering the 02 sensor code
I have it striped down ,body work done and ready for primer first thing in the morning . It will set a couple of days and then a good block sanding and then paint ,in the original torch red .
I spent the morning polishing up the American racing wheels ,they cleaned up very nice . The last pic is what i am shooting for.
The masking tape held! It usually lets go over night .
No drips ,no runs ,no errors !
3 coats of 2K ,in a couple of days a really good block sanding and it is ready for some color
Block sanded the crap out of it ,400 down to 600 there will be no sanding scratches showing up later .ready to paint first thing in the morning . It the third time i have masked it off !
I started at 6 this morning ,its now just passed 11 . All three coats of clear are on ,it sets up fast ! The last coat i really took my time and laid it on ,no runs ,a couple of light specs of dust but that will color sand out and it should easily buff nice and smooth ,i am happy with it !
