2005 Mustang GT with Dark Circuit Panel and can't read gauges

I'm a 1st time Stanger and making a thread mess (probly). Bought a 2005 Mustang GT Premier and Dash Gauge panel had broken gauges, dark, etc. Had it replaced and all is well except the light in the Dash is so dark I can't read the gauges,etc., but OK in garage. Replaced Light Switch but Thumbwheel Rheostat's and fuses fine. Dash interior like still dark or really dim. Thanks, Terry L. [email protected]
