2007 mustang v6 mustang 4 gauge to 6 gauge?

is it possible to change my old 4 gauge to a 6 gauge on my 2007 mustang v6 has anyone ever done it before like i notice the 3 dummy buttons on the radio bezel that doesnt do anything but the wires are still there like if was a premium or gt or something i seen old threads saying they did it but i say how because doesnt your serial number have to match to change cluster i dont any advice would help
