I'm currently knee deep in a 302/T5 swap in a 1960 Volvo PV544 of all things. I've got a Tremec T5 out of an 07 Mustang bolted up to a 302 from a 91 Marquis with an SN95 bellhousing. I'd like to get rid of the extended stock shifter and get a shifter that bolts into the top of the transmission, like the old shifters did in the Fox body era. The ones that bolt into the old T5s don't fit the transmission I have. Does anyone know what kind of shifter I need to make this work?
