2011 GT schedule date

Just got an update from my dealer on my GT I ordered on 2/13.

Build date 4/12.
Delivery Date 4/17.

Yeah I am not holding my breath.
But I live less that 500 miles from the plant so maybe that is why.

I'm only about 180 miles away from the plant, so I got 5 days from build to delivery too. Does your window sticker say convoy, mine does and I think that helps, no waiting for rail way.

i wondered if transport had something to do with it... that makes sense. You guys know about how long transport from the plant takes to get to, say, Tulsa? just as an example

I guarantee you 95% of dealers will tack $5,000 to the sticker of every new GT they get. Most dealers do this on all cars, all years, let alone a hot ride like the new GT.

My dealer has quoted me an awesome price to order one from the factory and I still hope to do that this week. There are definitely good deals around as well as good dealers.

I'm sure all dealers will be marking the GTs up for a while. I know they will be around here (Dallas) because some rich nut will be wililng to pay the premium to be the fist one to have one.
