It’s no surprise the Ford Mustang and its many variants continue to make global headlines & history, time and again. So what’s the latest & greatest??? The 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 is now officially the world’s most powerful production V8. Wait, what? Yeah, you read that right. The 2013 GT500′s supercharged 5.8-liter V8 produces an SAE certified rating of 662 horsepower and 631 lb-ft of tail-twisting torque. That’s freaking awesome!
What’s more, the 2013 Shelby GT500 belts out the additional 112hp vs the 2012 Shelby GT500 while at the same time, increasing fuel economy by 1 mpg in the city and on the highway…at a rate that’s 5mpg better than the
    Government Motors
    Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

  3. I wonder if it will be available through FRPP as a crate engine?
  4. ^ I was wondering that myself. I'm also wondering now that they have punched out the 5.4 to 351 cubes if a n/a version will find its way into some future Boss 351 like in 1971.
