28 spline moser axles

I was thinking of getting a 31 spline carrier and moser axles. But I am not going to be putting down maybe no more than 250 rwhp. I am woundering if some 28 spline moser axles would be just as good for the power I am making. It will probably take it to the track and run it on some nitto drag radials. I wont be launching it off slicks. Thanks.

I picked up the after market 28 spline 5 lugs. i figured they're supposed to be 33% stronger than stock. they were on the clearance table for $125!

Stock axles will suffice.
