302 weight vs 351 weight

Today i was talking my coworker, whos got a 347 in his 93. anyhow, i asked him if he ever considered getting a 351 to stroke, and he told me he stuck with the 302 for handling reasons...

Is the 351 considerably heavier than the 302?

Sportsman III 351W (iron): 184 lbs.

Sportsman 302 (iron): 165 lbs. (stock block ~155 lbs.)
