351W Swap Header Questions

[90' LX 5.0]

So im planning on doing the 351W swap in the near future, and I have a few questions about headers.
My current setup:
With the 5.0 I have clearance issues with the TKO-600 and the Mcleod Blowproof housing, using the BBK Longtubes. It barely fits and I have to loosen one side to get the bellhousing in and out.

If I drop a 351 in there, with the 351 BBK Longtubes will I have the same problem? Will it be worse? Will the offroad x-pipe that im using with the 5.0 longtubes work with the 351 longtubes?

Yes the off road x pipe will work. Now I'm not sure if you will still have the clearence issue. The 351w is wider which will atleast at first bring the headers futher away from the tranny but then the header will have to go to the same point at the 302 because your off road x-pipe has to mount in the same location. So I guess it really is a matter of where the clearence issue is as the header comes down.
