my mustang seems to have an electrical short. We have checked the alternator and battery many times and they do not seem to be the problem. If any body knows how to fix can you tell me where to look? If it is an electrical short? How much will cost to fix? but mostly what is the problem? Its not the switch (I thinK). So any information would be valuable to me please and I greatly appreciate the information. thank you. Oh, and it is stock.

Welcome to the boards.

A dead short will cause blown fuses, fusible links and burned wires.

Do you have something more akin to a parasitic draw, which is causing the battery to go dead eventually?

Good luck.
