5.0 Trickflow intake question

I have a Trickflow track heat intake for a 5.0 and installed it this weekend. I am wondering if any one has one of these or a streetburner on thier car. I was wanting to know if the plenium wistled. I have sprayed eather around it and no leak. Plus now its surging between 800 and 1000 rpm. Do i need to take the egr section off? If anyone has any idea let me know. Thanks

need some more info... throttle body set up... smog still there.... egr still connected.... vac lines all connected

I have the Trick Flow R. Are you sure you dont have a vacuum leak? are all the vac lines connected that go to the intake?

Did you change the throttle body when you did the swap? If so what brand and did you reset your idle?

Sounds like the throttle body or a vac. leak.

Removing and reinstalling 15 year old vac. lines, with the prying and bending, is an easy way to crack, damage the lines. Look them over well to make sure they are not damaged.
