One of our friends woks for the sheriffs dept here. He said in the rush to get people out of La they didn't check them before boarding the plane. So when they landed they told people they would be searched once off of the plane. So when the crew went to clean the plane they found gun's all over the place in it. And 2 guys tried to take them through the metal detectors and went to jail for carrying a firearm in an airport.
Damn, that would have been a mess if something went down in the air.
