Has anyone attempted to build a 65-66 Fastback from all-new sheet metal?
It seems as if all the sheet metal is available now; complete floor pan assembly that includes rear rails, door quarter panel frame assemblies that have the wheel wells, metal dash, rear window panel, roof, cowl assembly, firewall...etc.
Curious if anyone has attempted this and has pictures of the process? Seems it would be the least expensive route (including shelby fiberglass hood, & fenders) to a new sheetmetal fastback than the $18k dynacorn premade assemblies that dont have a hood or fenders. Granted I understand it would take time and welding skill.
