I have a 65 convertible that had the floor pan replaced however the body still sags as noted by the doors having wider gaps at the bottom when closed. I'd like to stiffen the body and in doing so align the body, doors, etc in the process. Any thoughts on how to do so and what is needed would be greatly appreciated.

It is the rocker assembly that keeps the door gap .Check it it may be rotted out .
Has the car ever been in a wreck? It is possible they were bowed .
Place a jack under the rocker lip, with a piece of wood on top to protect the rocker ,and jack it up about 4 inches and watch the door gap . If it widens out at the top quite a bit the rockers are probably rotted .They may look good out side but the up rights may be rotted inside .
