That underhood bracing is nice, I'd I had a mII style front suspension I would insist on that for added stiffness, heck even on a track car with stock style suspension it would help.
ron at stang-aholics sent me a few more pics of the coupe to fast back
the under side is painted. they wanted it to look nice for the magazine article.
i am hoping he will send a few of the rear suspension install in progress.
Ron sent me some more pics.these are of the new Heidts pro g rear suspension .
using Kenny brown dimensions. this is rated for very high horse power .this is going to be one sweet coupe,uh fast back.
ron sent me some new pics of the coupe to fast back conversion ,the suspension is done .they have the new 65-66 hood with 67 shelby hood scoop just setting in place
looks great. they did a fiberglass trunk lid end caps and a custome tail panel as well ,he is going to send me pics of that as well. he said Jim Smart did the magazine article so look for it ,not sure what magazine it is but i will find out. when he sends the rear fiberglass pics i will post them.
ron just emailed the pics of the rear fiber glass on the car ,he said it is just setting in place not bolted. it has a custome tail panel that uses LED lights and t bird lenses and frames. he told me they are working on a set of upper and lower scoops kind of like 67-68 to be used on 65-66 fast backs. the tail panel will use the 71-73 pop open gass cap or any flat panel type gass cap. he said they changed the trunk lock to the 67 -70
type for a smother flater look. i will update when i get more pics.
