This is a 5.0 in my sons 67 Mustang. This has happened twice now. The time the guy that did the restoration came and got it and he had his mechanic look at it. He said it was the TFI. Well that was last summer 2017. The car has been driven maybe 250-300 since. The same thing happened again. The engine starts to miss, backfire, lose power, and then quit. Does this sound like a TFI or a magnetic pick up problem? I do know if I had known about the TFI problems these engines had I would have never had it been put in this car. I would think a TFI would last longer then 200 or 300 miles. HELP!
