I'm not much of an audiophile, so I need some guideance on this one. I just bought a '93 that had a big hole where the radio should be and the original radio was in the hatch area. The problem is that instead of the wiring harness laid back in the hole, it's just several wires. I assume that he had an aftermarket radio that he took out before he sold the car to me. Is my best option for reinstalling the factory radio to go to a junkyard and try to find a factory harness? I looked up the radio code from the driver's door and it is the "premium am/fm clock cassette". Will any harness from 87-93 do the job?

Thanks guys!:flag:

From my experience, the '93 cars use a one-year only wiring setup. I retrofitted a '93 Cobra CD player into a '91 hatchback once, and I had to buy a factory Ford retrofit harness. Luckily, the guy I bought the radio from on eBay had one laying around. The stuff from the '93 ended up being totally different--different amplifier, wiring connections, the whole works.

If you need pictures of the '93 wiring harness I have, PM me.
