94-95 alternators same size as 96+?

I was wondering if the 94-95 3G alternators mounted the same way as the 96+ alternators. I really doubt it, but I figured I'd ask, since some of the 96+ alternators put out more charge. Thanks for the help!

i know the 4.6 alt is diffrent and im pretty sure the 3.8 is diff too but good luck

The 3.8L still used the same 3G style alt up til 1998 i think? Not sure.

But in 1996, Ford went to a 4G (4th gen) style alt on the modular motors. It's completely different.
