Does anybody know what the measurments are for the 8.8" rear in the 94-95 cars? I have the info for foxes, but I need it for the 94-95. Does anyone know where I can find what I am looking for? I have tried a search and come up empty. I am looking for info similar to the attached drawing.

The 94-98 8.8 rear axle assemblies are the same as the 86-93 Fox 8.8 rear axle assemblies.

If you don't believe me, read this page.

As it says, the FRPP 8.8" fits the 1979-1998 Mustangs exactly. The 1999 Mustang was the first 8.8" axle assembly to be different.

ETA: They're the same assemblies, but of course the 86-93 has 4-lug axle shafts and the 94-98 has 5-lug axle shafts.

Thank you for the response. I kind of guessed that was the case but I couldn't find anything that simply stated it. In all my searching people seemed to divide the 8.8's into fox and sn95 with all sn95's being wider. I have a 95 GT 8.8" that I am thinking about using under my 68.

Thanks,
Eric

They have to be the same assembly as the 86 - 93 because you can take the axle shafts and the rear brakes from a 94 - 95 and transfer them over to 86 - 93. But overall width will increase slightly after doing this.
