94 cobra hard start and wont idle

I have a 94 cobra that doesnt want to idle or start when the car is warmed up. the motor has 3k miles on a rebuild e303 cam harland sharp roller rockers edelbrock rpm 2 intake elbow bbk 70mm tb 30lb injectors 75mm mass air for the 30lb injectors and egr deleted a/c deleted smog pump deleted once the car is warmed up it doesnt want to stay idling it will idle for a few seconds then surge and stall then when i go to start it back up it wants to load up with fuel and not start unless i give it some throttle i have allready put a reman dist in it and need some help where to look to fix these other problem anybody have some idea's i dont know where to begin thanks mike. also the car wants to run a little hot at times but never overheats and not all the time

Have you pulled codes and looked for vac leaks?

havent had a chance to pull codes gonna check that one day this week no vac leaks that i could find

did a koeo test today and came up with a 511 code pcm read only? or something like that alldata says replace pcm

511 is common when a chip is installed in the ECM diagnostic port. Did you or a previous owner install a tuning chip? If you do, 511 will always pop up and can be ignored.

im not sure i didnt put a chip in it i just got the car last tuesday to replace my red 94 cobra that got rearended

pull the pcm and see what brand the chip is , then find the nearest tuner that can reburn the chip for you , sounds like its probably a tune issue , most likely due to the injectors and MAF

it did have a chip brand unknown its covered with velcro to hold it to the case since i unplugged it it idles and starts fine but it does not run as good as it did

Man I would find me a shop where you can get it dyno tuned. You have egr deleted and maybe th ECM needs to be reprogrammed to deal with EGR not being there.
