Hey guys, new to the forum, awesome site. I have a 95 Mustang V6 5spd, and today i got a supercharger from a trade. It's a stock Ford Thunderbird super coupe supercharger, and is in really good shape. Can it be used on a mustang application? I know it's the same engine, but what about the intercooler and piping? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've included a picture of it, and I know it's got plenty of scratches on the paint, but a little elbow grease and a wire brush will do wonders!

Believe it or not, you're not the first to have that idea!

It is possible, but there is quite a bit of fabrication involved. Most successful Supercoupe adaptations have involved a simple engine swap. That will give you all the parts you need, as well as the forged internals.

If you have a Cobra supercharger, Super Six Motorsports has an intake manifold that will adapt the blower to the Mustang 3.8. For the Supercoupe blower however, you're on your own.
