95 5.0 running lean/ rich adaptive limit reached

Do the auto x ray is a disfigured reader a step above your average code readers. It's an older system but it works well, it can do the koeo, koer, dat scans, and live data read out for sensors and timing, temp. My code reader doesn't to obd1, so I borrow this one for the 95.

Good news, bad news. Went for a ride, got to propper operating temp, came home and checked the timing. The car is running about 24 degrees of advance, so that's a problem. That's the good news, bad news is the distributor is stuck, and the plastic housing is now broken, my bad. Any advice on how to free up the frozen distributor? I sprayed it down with penetrating oil for now and am letting it sit.

That is exactly what you do to loosen the distributor up
I now swear by the freeze stuff (use it at the end (before turning with big channel locks)
You should be able to find a lower what? cap mount?
That 95 of yours is so close to OBD2 having pids that the pids are there on your 95 and my 94 and back to 92 or 3
Some day get a used NGS with all the cables (OBDI cable) in particular
I can do it all to my 94 meaning read pids and such and everything that is supported on mine
By 95 you could run the wipers from the NGS
