I was just wondering who else on here is rocking the 1996 - 1998 mustangs. I never find anyone with them, manly because people see how much the engines suck, but underestimate the power they are able to make. So tell the year and what you have done if you are willing. I'll start..

Love the Aero's! I have a 96 Cobra and it is one of the most un-sucky cars I have owned. Love the engine!

i dunno with EVERYTHING else done to it i could see it..multiple builders have told me that...I'm not expecting it though, just hoping..i really love me engine too... with the swap the compression jumped up to 10.7:1 which is more than the 99-04 models. the response is awesome now..

Fuel & Tuning:

* X-cal 2 non-custom tune. FRPP 9mm red performance spark plug wires, Motorcraft AGSF-32C's at .054", Sea foam bitches!

Exhaust:

* SLP (2)high-flow cat x-pipe, custom manufactured side pipes w/ magnaflow dual oval tiped pipes and magnapacks on each side

Drivetrain:

* Completely rebuilt Stage II kit 4R70W tranny w/ 3200 Stall Spec-Rite torque-converter, B&M Hammer shifter assembly, B&M Quicksillver shift knob, FRPP 3.73's w/ Royal Purple Max gear

i gots a 96 gt ,a few of the mods are listed below but havent had it dynoed yet,i actually just started it for the first time on sunday night,can't wait.i love being the underdog too.i'll try and get a pic or 2 up.nice cars guys

I just got mine a few weeks ago. It's a 98 GT with an x pipe,aftercat,cai,pulleys, upper plenum, and throttle body. Future plans are smoked headlights, 3.73's and a tune. Here's a picture of it with my friends 96...
