99 cobra bad clunking sound

have a 99 cobra with a new t56 setup from d+d and sometimes when i push the clutch in a weird clunking sound happens like the clutch is bouncing back and forth ine the tranny. and recently its getting really bad and shakeing until i let my foot of the clutch . any input would be great thanks

could the sound come from a pinion gear not put in right?

without hearing it or feeling it in person its pretty hard to diagnose. maybe try to take it to a tranny shop and get their opinion?

i would but the tranny and drive shaft are brand new ,its hard to explain but it feels like the whole tranny and drive shaft are being pushed forward rapidly

Sounds like it could also be Driveline lash?

how would you fix that . or is that the nature of the beast

Mine does the same thing, Ive narrowed it down to trans mount or engine mounts.
