1999 SVT Cobra 32V 4.6 V-8 DOHC 5spd. Vortech Supercharged. Professionally built by GTR High Performance (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and dyno-tuned by Powertrain Dynamics (Huntington Beach, CA). Last dyno'd at 433 RWHP and 378 RWTQ. Over $20,000 in upgrades! Performance upgrades include Vortech V-2 supercharger with aftercooler and Anderson powerpipe, BBK throttle body, Koni Yellow adjustable shocks, H&R race lowering springs, full length subfame connectors, 3.73 gears, Steeda IRS no-hop kit, full Magnaflow exhaust with X-pipe, McLeod clutch and aluminum flywheel, steel front brake lines, short shifter. Visual upgrades include smoked headlights, professionally smoked tailights, 2004 Cobra OEM mystichrome leather seats, 2003-2004 OEM Cobra hood w/ vents, 2001 OEM Cobra rear bumper (It says "Cobra"), and 18" chrome GT-500 replica wheels. Is the motor built (forged)? If not, how is the stock internals handling the boost?

Hey,
The motor internals are not forged, it is stock internally. It has roughly 9-10 PSI boost at redline and I dont race it so it rarely sees that much. Plus the tune is for a daily driver, so its safe and nothing crazy. The car has been supercharged for over 4 years (since about 45k miles). It still runs great. I'm sure if someone was to rebuild and forge the motor, it would take alot more. Thanks.
