99 to 04 mustang GT Edelbrock Victor Jr intake manifold

Hi,
I’ve run both Victor’s & Victor Jr’s., always carbureted. Running OE EFI, Carb, aftermarket FI, i.e, ; Holley systemax? Assuming your motor is fresh, or capable of handling high RPM’s, Victor Jr’s are an excellent choice when paired with the rest of the motor’s build.specific to your goals.
They can also easily be run on the street, with appropriate heads, Cam, compression ratio, bottom end, if you’re seeking ”all our,”.
(The stock 79’-93 5.0’s ran tiny 5/16” rod bolts, block vulnerable to stresscrack around 450BHP, rods about 6,250RPM’s; revved repetitively.
Studded mains with a stud girdle slightly helps avoid block cracking, slightly in a block that’s been magnafluxed, U/S checked for density.
Is the motor setup for the street, strip, or a combination?
So, EDE’s Victor Jr’s single plane intakes excel in mid-to upper RPM ranges (3,000 - 8,000). But, run it with the right parts/build, tuning; CPU or not,!it rids the “soggy” low end due to large runners and becomes quite streetable, losing no top end (2,500-6,500), or (3,000-7,000).
Manual trans, great! & quite streetable. Auto, a 2,500-3,200RPM stall. Consider the HP/TQ ranges with your powertrains abilities.. Build it equal. NOS bosses in each runner for NPT fittings for direct port NOS ( like a Fogger system).
The Victor and the dual plane Stealth intake are my personal favorites as they react well to repurposing of the advertised RPM ranges.
Willing to assist further,I have no direct data, my responses are slightly limited, can you post your build, year, App/goals? Run a medium sized shop focused on building & tuning.
Be looking for a reply, happy Holidays to you & yours, and anyone else that peeps in.!

Stup girdles so pedestals won’t bend/break under spring pressure & higher ratio Lunati rockers for more lift once rings seat, note NOS bosses for drilling & tapping direct port NOS injection on all intake runners.

Carb height is about 5 inches above stock, will it & an air cleaner clear your existing hood?

Not a Ford motor, but this 11:1 bored & stroked 454 (532) runs reworked Ford big block pistons. I’d rebuilt it, internally balanced/blueprinted, etc, street-able with a solid roller cam & still drives good on the street
