A/c Issues

1990 Mustang GT. A/C unit kicks in just fine when its not too hot outside But when its sweltering hot outside it wont kick over ????? Anyone run into this. Feeaons been checked n full, part atop condensor been replaced with new. All I can think of is the relay part thats on the passenger side fender wall? I dont know??any advise will be appreciated.

Ambient temperatures affect system pressures. When the system won't work correctly and it's hot out, unplug the low pressure switch and jumper the plug. This is the switch that's mounted on the accumulator bottle on the passenger sidewall. Jump the plug and the compressor should kick over. If it does, this suggests your pressures may be incorrect and yu need to double check.
