A Few New Pics

I just snapped a few pics a couple weeks ago of my buddy's 502 firebird and the stang... Just thought i'd share... firebird is a 502 crate motor, holley carb, hooker headers, msd ignition, flex-a-lite fan, high flow rad, and a whole mess of other goodies... i helped him get it together and running... we also did a new rear in it 12 bolt posi with yukon axles, a new posi diff, and 373 gears... its a little over 500hp all motor with stock heads and 8 or 8.5:1 compression... the things an animal... enjoy:

Why such low compression? Plans for boost?!

thats what a stock 502 comes with... he would like to invest in some forced induction but 502 parts tend to get very pricey... just a set of afr's that may cost about 1200-1400 for a stang cost about 3000 for a 502 just as an example... to needless to say its going to be a little while till he gets to that point where he has another 5 or 6 g's to blow on it... right now hes more focused on getting the tires to stick to the ground...hes got 500 hp and all he has is a built rear and subframe connectors....

those two vehicles are absolutely SEX on wheels... right now i'm building my coupe and my buddy is building a '69 firebird with a stroked pontiac 455... he's hoping to make close to 600 hp before drivetrain loss
