I have a 2.#L motor that I will be turbocharging. I also have a built up A4LD, that I want to use with it. I know the A4LD was used on the '87 and '88 Thunderbird Turbocoupes. The A4LD uses a vacuum modulator. My question is, if anyone knows the answer, can I use a vacuum modulator with a turbocharged engine, or do I have to hid the effects of boost from the modulator? I just don't want to rupture the diapragm, or force the trans to not shift do to pressure on the diapragm. If I use the "adjustable" modulator, does this resolve my issue?
