Electrical Accessory power on rolling chassis

Hey all,
So I’m fairly novice when it comes to auto electrical issues. I recently finished relocating my battery to the hatch area of my 90 LX, following house of dula’s YouTube video on the subject. My car is currently a rolling chassis and has no engine wiring harness. Am I incorrect in assuming that once the battery is connected that I should have accessory power when the key is turned? Positive goes from battery>175 megafuse>Starter solenoid. negative goes from battery>Metal ground in rear quarter area>Driver’s side inner apron ground. Can anyone advise where the error might be?
Thanks

From the pics I see power to the starter solenoid. Where are the other wires that would distribute power from the starter solenoid to fuse panel and elsewhere on car?

Also, the wire, that I assume will go to starter, looks too small of gauge. What is that powering?

The wires that are currently connected are the only ones on my main harness. I believe, but could be wrong that the other wires that would connect to the solenoid are part of the engine harness. That i do not have yet. I’m going to be getting the pro-m engine management system. I thought I read somewhere that the yellow wire went to the fuse panel? The yellow one branches off into several fused wires. I shortened these wires with solder and heat shrink tubing after the fuse (so closer to the ring that connects to solenoid) during my wire tuck for appropriate length wires for how I wanted to mount everything. Would that cause it to not power?

there is presently no starter wire on thd solenoid.

The way the starter solenoid works is you have the power wire on one post (you have it to the left in latest pic but could be either side). Small middle wire with push on connector comes from ignition switch. Right side of solenoid goes to starter. When 12V power comes from the ignition switch connection is made inside solenoid and power is sent down wire to starter. When start function of ignition is released, power to starter is released and starter stops.

All wires requiring power go on same post as battery wire. Some circuits (in factory harness) will only get power when ignition is in run position and not hot at all times. That is handled under dash at ignition switch and fuse panel. So if your yellow wire goes to other fuses it needs to be on post with battery positive cable. The little bracket and module are a electrical noise suppressor and should be on battery cable side.

The fuse links for all model years 86-93 live in the wiring harness near the starter solenoid.
