Adding Vintage Air A/c To 1970 Mach 1

I'm planning on having a shop add the Vintage A/C system to my 1970 Mach 1. I was also planning on replacing the radiator at the same time.

For the most part, I'm trying to keep it close to original, so I was figuring on having them install the factory replacement radiator.

My question is: Will the factory radiator be sufficient to support the newly added A/C if the car did not come with it? Or, will the car run hot under the additional load? Basically, if the factory one is sufficient, I'll stick with that. If not, I'll have them install something else.

Thanks!

If, when buying the factory replacement radiator, you choose one for a car which came with A/C, you should be fine. In other words, buy the new radiator as though your car were already equipped, from the factory, with A/C.

If it were my car, I would get the radiator for a car that came with a/c and still out an electric fan on it. Only because I like to drive my cars...a lot and I like the effectiveness of an electric fan.
