well my buddy just got a 96-98 mustang, im not sure exactly what year because i just saw a picture. well it looks to be pretty stock, not even exhaust from what i can tell. but even if it did have a couple of bolt ons how would i fair? i think im gonna walk all over it, but he insists on thinking its faster than mine. what are the stats on these years? when i get my slicks i know ill land on him but i just want to know what they run compared to a mild modded fox.

96-98 gt arent nothing to worry about unless thier modded.

i ran my buddys 96gt from a 45mph roll. he has CAI, UD pulleys, long tubes, o/r X pipe, and flows. i jumped him a lil but he caught up but never pulled past me and mine layed 212/265 at wheels.

Yea the PI GT's are nice. My buddy has one with auto trans and just SLP exhaust and ran a 14.1

stands for "performance improved". 99-04 gt's are the PI cars. 96-98 are the NI cars, "needing improvement".
