Does anyone here know how to get anti-lock brake "error codes" from the ABS computer?
I had to use tire chains this past winter and one of them came loose and I think it knocked out one of the ABS sensors or something of that nature, but I can't remember which side came loose. So the ABS has been out for about 5 months and I've had the yellow ABS light on the dash since then. I'm getting tired of it so I want to fix it. My Haynes manual says the ABS computer stores ABS errors, so I'm wondering if the DIYer can get those codes, or do I have to take it to a technician?
