I'm looking into building my own T5, since I can't find one that's worth a crap for anything less than a small fortune. So, my question is, what would it take to turn either a 4cyl or V8 T5 into a 2.95 gear T5? Would it be worth it, $$ wise?
I see D&D sells a "2.95 conversion gear set" for $450...is it really that special? Does it have what I need?

PS: What are the good upgrades? I'm looking at a steel bearing retainer, billet countergear stabilizer, and I see FRPP sells the T5z's with a "cobra pocket bearing"?
