Anybody got an alternative/replacement center console in a Fox??

I personally hate the center console in Fox's, they are such worthless turds that really serve no practical purpose and you can never get them to friggin stop rattling and making noise.

I'm just wondering if there is any other options out there or if anyone has pics of something they did.

I thought about doing the SN95 dash and center console swap, but I dont' know if I want to get that extensive and I just invested about $400 in an MC Machine (like Florida 5.0) guage panel and Autometer gauges.

SFC's help alot..... and also you could take parts off and put felt between the pieces you put back on.

Yeah, I've heard the felt does work alot. And SFCs are pretty sweet for the price, for the interior and chassis both.

SFCs are a great idea even if your car is not making any noise, my C Pillars started getting waves in them before I installed them!

Yeah, it's pretty ugly. When I stop being so lazy I will try to cut pieces off it then fiberglass it too a newer look. I cover the ash try thing and get rid of unnessecary lines.

Have you considered removing the whole thing? it kinda looks cool...looks like theres more space in there.

I'm shaping one out of foam over the winter and then fiberglassing it for my 85 Notch. Then I can hollow it out and finish it off. It's gonna be clean and functional. Nothin there that doesn't need be like that goofy looking car diagram with lite bright lites that go off!!! LOL!

I thought about removing the whole thing, but I've seen pictures of that and where the radio and heater controls are looks real goofy then.
