Anyone Else Buy Stuff You Don't Need?

What do you think the costs will be to reshape that thing (assuming there's no holes in the weld which looks sketchy as eff)?

Out of curiosity, why would someone pay a machine shop to weld up a head like that and not finish the job by machining it?

I agree. That's a home weld job.

I'd scrap that head. As for the other, A bare TFS casting is $500-600 depending on vendor. I'd just rather spend the $$$ and get one new vs take a chance on that head given the obvious evidence something went boom

I don't even own these years, but figured it was a good resource to have.

Been snagging the ones I see ~$20 lately. Got a 1990 EVTM also on the way

I often forget that I own a 1989 Shop Manual. I got it from a long-time member here that liquidated a bunch of old stuff a few years ago.

When the zombies come, it's one of the things I'm taking with me.

I have a missile alert system for sale...CHEAP. Comes with a half awake employee who sometimes pushes the wrong button.

I'll take it. The half awake employee can get me H.O.V. lane access and the alert system will scare everyone outta my way. No MoPac ExpressLane charges for me, SUCKAS!
