While getting my oil changed I was taking a peak at the exhaust and this is the **** that I see. I installed these last August and this is my daily driver. While NJ winters arent the best, I didn't expect to see bare metal in less than a year :notnice: . Ill be lucky to get $150 for these when I sell them on eBay for the turbo kit that I get.

When first installed last August:

Was I expecting too much? I didn't expect to this after 8 months.

That sucks. With the amount of salt that Jersey puts down on their roads, I can see how that happened. Salt will eat through anything given enough time. It looks like it has had enough time.

wow. i've had my bbk ceramic-coated long tubes on for just under 2 years now, and they look almost like new--not a spec of rust. granted, my car is parked for almost the entire winter, but it does see a little salt once in a while.

i hose off the underbody after driving on salty roads whenever possible. a little tlc goes a long way (not that you should expect your headers to be so bad already).
