Anyone have rebuild tips for the 4G alternator? I bought a kit for my ’96 Cobra and found a really old article that talks about difficulties with separating the front case and stator assembly (place it in an oven at 290 degrees then use a press.) I have a press (and an oven) so I don't think I'll have a problem with it but the author kept saying how difficult the 4G is to build.
