AOD HELP!!

I am installing an AOD in my nephew's 68 stang and have a few problems. First he got the tranny from a friend but it has no fittings on the case to hook up the tranny cooler lines. I don't have any junk yards or tranny shops near so does anybody have any part numbers for them? Also I got the cross member for the tranny but I got the mount for the tranny but it dosn't match the cross member. It's too high and the bolt holes don't match. Did anybody have this problem? Thanks.

I used the stock C4 lines to connect the trans cooler. One fit pretty good and I cut the other and used a short piece of rubber hose to get them back together. The cut was a few inches from the case fitting. As for the mount, the original C4 mount should work with your new cross member.

I got the tranny mount and it works, but the other problem is with the cooler lines. I have the line kit for the AOD but there are fittings that screw into the tranny case for the lines to hook up that are missing.

Try the closest transmission shop, like AAMCO. Let your fingers do the walking. If all else fails, go to your local Ford dealer and they'll look 'em up.
