Are gear ratios stamped on Ford ring and pinions?

I'm pretty sure they are but wanting to make sure. I got a NIB set of what should have been 3.55's off ebay and the ring and pinion both have 308 stamped on them. Just want this confirmed for when the guy trys to give me crap about it. Thanks.

count the teeth on the ring and on the pinion and let me know

i believe my pinion said 4.10 on it... i don't remember about the gear.

my ring was 41 and my pinion 10

if u devide the ring by the pinion u get the ratio....

if anyone has a 3.55 could you count the teeth to verify, thanks

dividing the ring count by the pinion count tells you ratio, no matter what ratio they are.

yeah bigcat, but i figured if someone had a 3.55 set matty22 would know the amount of teeth that the ring/pinion needed to be...
