[My Mach1]

I’m installing a new audio system in my 1969 Mach1
Did anyone put in tweeters in the pillars?
I watched a video on how to make tweeter pods on the pillars
Has anyone done this? How did it turn out?
I bought all component speakers and need to know where to put the tweeters and where did you mount your speakers and crossovers?
I did buy Kick panel speaker pods for the front speakers, has anyone used these?

Some people have mounted tweeters out of sight behind the headliner....the headliner evidently doesn't affect the sound much.

Thank you for responding but I can’t put the tweeters behind my headliner
It’s a one piece TMI Fiberglas headliner
I did find out my tweeters came with a 1” ring so I can mount the tweeters at the bottom of the A pillars

In that case, you are probably running MTF fiberglass A-pillar covers as well? If so, you could do a bit of fiberglass work to add a speaker pod to them(though I personally would not want tweeters anywhere in my line of sight)
