I have a question. I have a set of E6SE. I know there bad. i have some money in them and have not used them much. I want to get my money worth out of them. My motor has 203,000km on it. What do you think if I put the heads on my motor with gt40 intake, bigger throttle body, bigger maf and B303 cam advance 4 degrees?? Should make good mid ranger power?? Till I finish building my 306.

those heads are going to choke the hell out of your motor. At a minimum get a set of GT40 heads or better yet AFR or TFS heads. The motor has a lot of miles on it. How is the compression? I'm also not a fan of alphabet cams, especialy the B cam. finally, what MAF? Is it calibrated to your current injectors

I have a set of gt40 heads there going on my 306 I am building. I was thinking check compression and if good put them on. There not stock milled to 65cc, intake gasket matched, exhaust open up, stiffer springs and I also had the material around the intake valve laid back a bit. I had these heads on my 95 f150 for a few months with long tubes, k&n kit and throttle body spacer, with 2 1/2 dual exhaust with super 40's. Pulled hard to red line. The B cam will go good with my high school project. Not sure on the maf but it has a stock ford maf sensor in it. Not sure on how many mm it is have not measured it yet.

Winter is coming and its starting to get cold at night. Woke up the other day and there was frost on her.

So I found a place to park her for the winter. Still out side but on some gravel and did not cost much for the winter. They have cameras and a gate that locks. I put my car cover on that I bought for last winter on her.

I already had a explorer intake, now I have two :). This one is going on my 306 I'm building. With the gt40 heads I have. They need to be rebuilt.

My 306, nothing special. Just a good rebuild for now with few upgrades. ARP main, rod and head bolts.

I used Keith Black pistons. With my gt40 heads milled to 60cc I will be close to 9.5-1. I am thinking Ford B303. It will go perfect with my project high school.

Unless you have a supercharger, you don't need the air delete pulley. Just another thing that can fail. Instead, a new belt routing path can bypass the smog pump.

The delete pulleys are more for supercharged cars that must keep oem belt routing.

Of course, delete pulley free, and new belt required for new belt routing.

I want to try and keep it stockish looking and I have it laying around. I will put it on for now. :)

Before I put my baby to sleep, I changed the head unit. I installed Alpine single din with pop out screen. Not sure if I am going to keep it in the car. It has lots of wires to go with it. It's also old, a new one with blue tooth would be nice. Here's a video of installing it.

Please do not get offended , however I would strongly recommend using some form of connectors on your wires- butt, scoche, with shrink wrap- preferred is soldering- rather than twisting them together and electrical tape. I would also put all of those wires you ran in the center console and under the seat in some plastic wire loom, to avoid any risk of them chaffing or getting caught on something.

I don't think I'm going to be keeping the head unit in there. Lots of wires for nothing. I had it laying around and its better then the cassette deck. I was not sure if it still worked. I can use my iPod in the car now. :) The stereo in the car needs everything new. The aftermarket speakers in it are garbage also. I'm thinking of buying all new and installing at the same time. So much to do. So little time. :-(

Little update. I sold my 306 short block to a friend. For $500, sn95 T5, 1.7 roller tip rockers and a fender well cold air intake. Pics coming. See how many more parts I can stock pile this winter.
