Ok, i have a mustang with a bad rag joint, and i cannot find this last piece of the 'puzzle' anywhere. Its the part with the teeth inside that connects the steering shaft the the rubber coupler. The old one was missing 1 3rd of the teeth, so it needs to be replaced before its safe to drive (right?) .
any help would be great! thanks

ok thanks Cяash for showing me that, and if i do end up ordering it i'll post it on here if i can. and i already have a new rag joint, my friend got me a neoprene rag joint, and he uses it in his car and it works better than poly he says, its almost impossible to bend it with ur hands, and it fits perfectly.
thanks again for the help, im gonna try and find one at a junk yard first, but if i cant i'll order that one.

I opted for the Flaming River billet U-joint. Looks good and will last a very long time. I had to call Flaming River tech support to get the exact part number. My 68 has a 1" smooth end, short shaft, collapsable DD column. They recommended part number FR1742. Easy to install!
