Battery Voltage Seems Low To Me...

My GT usually reports the battery voltage around 11.7-11.9 when the car is off. I've always expected a new, fully charged battery, to report closer to 12.5 or more when it's fully charged. Had Ford check it out to be sure, because my 05's battery died on me within the first year. They said it's normal, and I'm inclined to believe them since I haven't had any starting issues, but was wondering if you guys are getting the same results from your Mustangs?

Dont think I've ever had a vehicle show 12+ volts with the key in the on position before. 11.7 seems perfectly fine. When batteries start to take a digger the voltage will often appear to be fine but they fail the load test.

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

Now I'm going to have to put my shoes on and walk out into the garage...

My wife's Cruze showed 12.4 after a drive home after turning it off. Must be a Mustang thing with all that cool technology. :)

Mine will usually go close to 14 when driving and getting the RPMs up a little.
