OK Ill try to make this easy to understand. Right now I have a 4.10 rear gear in my car. The car has the stock 335 first gear t5 in it. As it sits the gearing is to much for me, I go through first gear way to fast. The other gears are ok but whats would be a better combo,

t5 with 335 first gear and 373 rear gears

or

t5 with 295 first gear and 410 rear gear?

well I cant keep this thing planted that is true. I havve bbk lower control arms on it, and nitto extreme performance tires. There are supposed to have good traction.

on the nittos: 1) they are not drag radials 2) with just rear shocks and springs, i can still break the tires loose through 3rd gear.... even when the tires are warm, and mine are drag radials!

I used to have the 3.35 t-5 with 3.73's. I thought first gear was too short for the street, its perfectly driveable but I wanted to have a longer first gear for normal driving. I have a t-5z with 2.95 first gear now and its perfect. I don't have any times with the new transmission so I can't offer a track comparison.
