I was just wondering how you guys do it. I read a thread a while back where someone picked up a few rwhp on the dyno after spraying the MAF with carb cleaner. I would assume you'd run the car and spray the carb cleaner directly into the MAF allowing the vacuum to suck this cleaner through the MAF and into the intake subsequently cleaning out everything on it's way through. I was leaning towards doing this while manually reving the throttle on the TB to make sure the system is cleaned out.
Is this method recommeneded?

Take the MAF out, then look down the tube and you'll see 2 little sensors. Get some rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip. Dip the Q-Tip into the alcohol, then GENTLY rub the sensors. Look at the q-tip and see if it was dirty and put the MAF back on.
