Big bore short stroke

38" bore, 98" stroke? Got torque? Sorry, back on topic...............

That thing is cool. There are some more interesting pictures of it out there.

One of the interesting things about it is it is what they refer to as a "cross head" (I think) piston design. The piston rides on an intermidiate rod that locates it from side to side and attaches it to the regular connecting rod. This keeps the piston from scuffing the cylinders too hard by taking up the side loads.

I can't remember exactly what the fuel is called that it runs on, but it's not diesel. It's like one step up from straight Crude oil and is thicker than molasses.

Dont you guys have desk top dyno, check it for yourselves same identical displacement = almost identical torque. [/url]

No, I don't have desktop dyno. Here's a thought, though - compare Chevy 350 stroked to 383 to a Chrysler 383 big block. The Chrysler engine is 4.25 x 3.375. Sorry, I don't know the dimensions of the Chevy.

Maybe you could post what the dyno graphs are like, all other things being equal.
