Hey guys, whats the "Largest" M/T Street tire i can fit in the back of my 1995 GT. Im thinking 28x11.5 or 28x12.5 but im not sure if it would fit the stock rear suspension. If not whats the next biggest thing? 275/60/15?
I can reverse the quad shock or message the inner fender, i just dont wanna tub or change the suspension yet.
give me some info or ideas!
thanks

Heres a 95gt with 28x12.5 M/T Et Streets but im not sure if its tubbed

I'm running 28 x 12.5 x 15 on 15 x 10 rims w/ 6.5 b.s. and they fit on my 94 Cobra w/ no issues. I'll be switching to a 28 x 13.5 x 15 over the offseason. Let's hope she fits!:D

Which M/T tire? The M/T ET Street measures different than an M/T ET Drag tire. 28x12.5 ET Street = 28x10.5 ET Drag.

For the record I run 28x10.5 ET Drag no problem, 10" rim with 6.5" bs and 1/4" spacer.

so do i need to buy spacers? would it be better to get 5.5bs?
and should i go for the 28x13.5 insted? or play it safe and go with 28x12.5? this is a street car so im going to be running a et street most likely

wow cool, with no issues with stock suspension? how do they look?
is it safe to go with 28x13.5 then?

Don't mind the crappy video, my nephew sucks with the camera....:rlaugh:
Of course you have to ditch the quad shocks, other than that that bolt right up, and I use no spacer or anything.

wow those look awesome! would look even better if you lowered the back end an inch or so to fill in the gap.
so those are the 28x12.5x15?
do you think i could squeeze a 28x13.5? also is it safe to run m/t et streets as a daily driver beings that they have no tread? might be kinda squirly in the rain

I would lower it a bit more but due to my suspension setup having it right at that particular ride height has my Instant Center and Pinion Angle exactly where they need to be so thats where I leave it. Those are 28 x 12.5 x 15 ET Streets mounted on 15 x 10's w/ 6.5 b.s.
I'm not sure if the 28 x 13.5's will work or not, i'm going to try them this winter or early next spring. There actually going to be the 325-50-15 MT Drag radials, which is equilivant to a 28 x 13.5.

I also don't reccomend driving w/ ET Streets on a daily driver unless your commute consists of a 2 mile round trip each day and it never rains where your at.

On a 10" Rim with 6.5 bs and no spacer I have ran the 325/50/15 and now the 275/60/15 ET Street Radial with no issues. My fenders were "clearanced" with a BFH years ago though.
