I got my Bilstein struts! Now I'm saving up to get the shocks for the rear.

Can't wait to replace my crappy stockers!

Thinking of doing it DIY, but I'm not sure. I'd have to get a good floor jack, stands, and maybe an electric impact wrench. For that, I might just pay a shop to install them.

It is very easy to do this, I say go for it.
I read about it in the Haynes manual. Doesn't look too hard.

My pop has all that stuff, so I might see if I can use his. I think he's worried about the springs shooting out, though.
 
It's not too hard at all, just takes some time. An impact gun didnt work for me, so it might be good to have vice grips to hold the bolt in place, while you try and break the bolt lose.

vise grips will cut into the bolt/nut. just use a wrench.
